Text Message Terms & Privacy Policy

The short version: we only text you if you ask us to. We never sell or share your number with anyone. You can stop the texts at any time by replying STOP.

How you sign up

You join by giving us your mobile number on our sign-up form — at our counter, by scanning our QR code, or on this website. There are two separate boxes, and both are unchecked. You choose each one on its own. If you don't check a box, we don't send you that kind of message.

By checking a box you agree to receive text messages from Davis Fine Jewelers and Repair at the number you gave us.

What we send — two separate opt-ins

Box 1 — Repair & service updates. Your repair is ready, pickup reminders, and follow-ups on a quote you asked for. About 1–4 messages a month, only while we have your piece.

Box 2 — Offers & specials. Occasional promotions, seasonal deadlines, and news from the shop. About 1–2 messages a month.

These are independent. You can take one and not the other, and you can stop either at any time by replying STOP.

How often

About 1 to 4 messages per month. Message frequency varies — service updates depend on whether you have a repair with us.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We don't charge you for these texts, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply based on your plan.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and we'll stop immediately — no questions asked, and you'll get one final confirmation that you've been unsubscribed. You can rejoin anytime by replying START or asking us at the counter.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and effective transmission.

Your privacy

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile number or any information you give us with third parties for their marketing purposes — ever.

We collect only what we need to serve you: your name, phone number, email if you give one, and details about the piece you brought in. We use it to contact you about your jewelry, to send the messages described above, and for nothing else.

Your information is shared only with the service providers who help us send messages (our messaging provider) and only so they can deliver them on our behalf. It is never shared for anyone else's advertising.
